“I wrote a song in memory of my son, Leo.” Richard Gibsons Blog for The Compassionate Friends

In 2023 we were very happy to work with Richard Gibson to write a song in memory of his Son, Leo. Richard did an amazing job writing and recording the song “Forever Young (Boy Wonder) that you can listen to here. He recently wrote a blog for The Compassionate Friends (a Uk charity supporting bereaved parents and their families) about his experience and how the songwriting process helped him.

“I am so pleased with the song and it is a fitting and lasting tribute to my dear son. The whole process was emotional and challenging at times, but with Ben’s support was a positive, uplifting and cathartic experience overall as it helped me articulate our collective love for Leo. So long as there are people to sing his swan song, Leo will be here with us.”
