Fundraise

Fundraising.

Whether it’s taking on a sponsored challenge, running a marathon, organising a bake sale or swapping gifts for donations on your birthday; there’s a fundraising event for everyone.
If you are interested in fundraising for The Swan Song Project, we would love to hear from you.

Fundraising ideas

Challenge yourself
From running a race to hiking a mountain, push yourself to your limits while raising
funds for The Swan Song Project.
Whatever you decide to do, we’d love to know more. And if you’d like to take on a
challenge but you’re not sure what to do, get in touch and we can help you decide.

Organise your own fundraising
The best thing about fundraising is that it’s completely up to you what you do.
Whether it’s a charity bake off, shaving your hair off, organising a quiz night with
friends or holding a virtual event; fundraise your way and make a difference to those
living with a terminal illness, dealing with a bereavement or planning their end stages of life.
Want to make a difference but not sure what to do? We’d love to hear from you and
discuss some options with you.

Celebration giving
If you’re tired of faking a smile when unwrapping another pair of socks, asking for donations on your birthday (or for any other celebration event) is the perfect alternative to gifts.

It can be as simple as setting up a Facebook fundraiser.

If you have an idea of how you would like to fundraise for The Swan Song Project, get in touch.

Paying in the funds
If you’ve fundraised online, either through JustGiving or Facebook, you don’t need to do anything else – the funds will come directly to us. If you’ve collected donations and sponsorship offline, please send us a cheque
payable to The Swan Song Project to:

The Swan Song Project, Old Chapel Music Studios, 1 Crossland Court, Czar Street, Holbeck, Leeds, LS11 9PR

“Just wanted to thank you for being around at Marie Curie hospice, my son passed away on 22 March what was going on in his head is unimaginable. I know he enjoyed writing that song which must have provided some relief for him a break from the discomfort and stress perhaps. So a sincere thank you from myself and his family I hope you can keep up this good work”

“This has been one of the best memories I can recall in a long while. I will treasure this great gift always.”
