I was born in the Land of The Prince Bishops,

A little town called Shildon.

With Audrey, Ben and Roslyn.

We made Wilf and Hilda’s house a home.

When Summer came, into view,

I had Weardale on my mind.

I learnt to knit, I learnt to sew,
